"This will be a very fruitful event since it is the first time that Chile is bringing such a large delegation of companies to the Global Innovation Summit of the Eureka Network to find partners with the aim of developing technological and innovative solutions. Commercial Association with Germany (PBG)

From the Chilean delegation, another nine national SMEs are participating this week in Hannover Messe, in Germany, beneficiaries of Partnering in Business with Germany (PBG), an initiative driven by Corfo, the German government, and the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) to strengthen the internationalization of national small and medium-sized enterprises. To date, nearly 300 local companies have successfully completed this program.

"Strengthening commercial and technological ties is fundamental to the competitiveness of Chilean companies, because learning about innovative production experiences allows us to access key solutions to move towards sustainable development. To date, we have a network of alumni of 300 managers from Chilean SMEs, who have managed to familiarize themselves with the German market, and establish commercial relations", highlighted the Manager of Territorial Development, Claudio Maggi.

During the visit, the PBG delegation will participate in a series of activities to deepen their understanding of local economic strategies, digital transformation, and industrial innovation in Germany. They will also be conducting B2B meetings with companies of interest present at the fair.

It should be noted that the PBG allows beneficiaries to participate in a specialized training program and a three-week trip to that country to connect with potential German strategic partners: they conduct workshops, and receive specialized training, provided by a certified German training center, to strengthen their skills in business management, commercial project development, and international relations.

Currently, the call for the PBG is open, until this April 7. In this version, the focus is on sectors such as renewable energies, energy efficiency, ecodesign, circular economy, sustainable buildings, electric mobility and ecopackaging.
