Aalto Startup Center opens application for its Business Generator 2025 acceleration program
Do you have a startup focused on deep-tech? The program offers everything from practical workshops to personalized tutoring.
During the first day of Slush 2024, the Aalto Startup Center announced the opening of its acceleration program Business Generator 2025, which is focused on startups with business ideas based on research or deep-tech.
The startups that want to be part of this acceleration program have until January 12, 2025 to apply and must meet the following requirements:
While enrollment in the program takes place twice a year, at the beginning of fall and at the end of winter, applications are accepted throughout the year and are individually evaluated.
Who can apply?
Follow us on: 
- Startups whose business idea is based on research or deep-tech innovation.
- Startups that align with the theme "Technology for Sustainability".
- To have a Finnish company identity document less than 3 years old.
- Have a scalable business model and an MVP or Proof-of-concept.
- Have a team of, at minimum, 2 full-time employees.
What does the program offer?
The program offers everything from practical workshops to personalized tutoring; networking and participation in events; resources and partnerships; office spaces that adapt to the needs of each startup.
One of the differences that Aalto Startup Center has with other programs is that they require startups to give the accelerator a stake in their business. However, Aalto Startup Center does not take a stake in the capital.
What they do have is a monthly fee starting from €150 + VAT per company, which gives access to the complete Business Generator program and to A Grid's office facilities.
