Huvimaa Fest 2025: will take over Turku's Kupittaanpuisto on July 12-13

The happiest summer festival for the whole family is back for its second edition now even bigger and featuring numerous children's favorites performers!

Turku’s summer event season gets even better for families with children thanks to the Huvimaa Festival, held for the second time and organized by Suomen Lasten Ohjelmapalvelu Oy on  July 12-13.

This is a full-family festival that, in addition to musical performances, offers a whole day of exciting sights and a wide range of entertainment.

The hugely popular Hevisaurus returns from last year to rock the stage with their heavy metal roar — get ready to raise your horns with the whole crowd!

Gigglebug (Kikattava Kakkiainen) arrives with laughter and dance-ready disco tunes to get the party moving!

In addition to the performing artists, the festival area will be full of exciting things to see and do, including the Huvimaa Fest Bouncy Park, featuring over a dozen different bouncy castles, Taikahile’s giant soap bubble show, dance performances, market stands, fun activities, engaging games, and, of course, delicious food!

Many favorites from last year will also return — including the ever-popular foam party! Plus, this year promises brand-new surprises!

Huvimaa Fest is the perfect addition to Turku’s event offering for children and families

"We’re extremely happy with the amazing reception Huvimaa Fest received last year. According to the feedback we got, the festival was the highlight of the summer for many families, and there’s clearly demand for this kind of event. For our family, spending quality time together is a big priority, and it was heartwarming to see how much families enjoyed themselves at the venue," commented Kim and Sonja.

"The first Huvimaa Fest was a big success, so expectations are high," says Kim Pihl, CEO of Suomen Lasten Ohjelmapalvelu Oy, the company organizing the event.

"This year, instead of one day, the festival will be a two-day event. We’ve continued planning and improving the festival based on last year’s experiences, and next summer the area will be even more diverse. One exciting addition is the Huvimaa Fest Bouncy Park, featuring over a dozen bouncy castles in collaboration with Happy Beavers — something I personally can’t wait for!

In collaboration with Duudsoni Activity Park, we’re also offering customers great discounts for both the festival and Duudsoni parks. This is part of our effort to encourage families to enjoy quality time together.

The festival area will remain largely the same, but the main entrance will be moved further into the park to ensure a safer queuing space for visitors. We’re also paying special attention to restricted items after a few unfortunately made their way in last year.

In response to concerns raised about the Meet'n'Greet area, it will now be fenced off and the queue will be cut at a suitable point to avoid unnecessary waiting," Pihl explains in the press release.

"The joy is in being together!"

? Tickets are already on sale via Ticketmaster. Many of the area’s activities are included in the basic ticket price, while some additional activities and services will be available for a fee.
