IFI AudioVisual Program 2025: First call of the year now open to boost Audiovisual Productions
The initiative by Corfo and the Ministry of Cultures aims to increase the production of high-impact foreign audiovisual productions in Chile, and has a budget of $4.168 billion, which will be distributed during the two calls for 2025.
Attracting high-impact international audiovisual investments, such as feature films, television series, and internet-broadcast content, as well as promoting audiovisual productions in various Chilean locations, is the call made by the IFI Audiovisual "Support for high-impact audiovisual investments 2025" led by Corfo and the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage.
This national program has an available fund of $4.168 billion -for its two 2025 calls-, and offers, through a subsidy, a reimbursement of up to 30% of qualified expenses in Chile and 40% in the case of productions carried out in regions other than the Metropolitan.
The application process for the first 2025 call of the High Impact Audiovisual Investment Support Program - IFI Audiovisual, began on the recently passed March 14th and will extend until April 14th.
Interested parties should apply through a form available at www.corfo.cl. In addition, for inquiries and questions, the phone number 600 586 8000 and the email [email protected] are available.
The Minister of Cultures, Arts and Heritage, Carolina Arredondo, commented that "last year as a Government we decided to push for the return of the High Impact Audiovisual Investment Support Program, with the conviction that this initiative contributes to enhancing the industry and employment in the sector. And not only that, because it also helps to showcase the culture and heritage of our country to the rest of the world, increasing the tourist appeal of Chile and thus contributing to growth and economic development at a national, regional and local level."

Regarding the 2025 call, José Miguel Benavente, executive vice president of Corfo, highlighted that "this year we have double the resources than last year, with better entry conditions, and in the design process we have addressed concerns from the sector, made some adjustments to the evaluation criteria to value the Chilean content that we support through this instrument. These adjustments will make us a relevant and competitive global player in supporting large-scale projects in the audiovisual field".
