With the aim of promoting the development of new technologies that face the challenges of climate change and promote the creation of innovative products from grapes, the international event Wine Innova Tech 2024 will be held on May 30 and 31.

The Palacio Rioja in Viña del Mar will be the epicentre of this event, which is expected to be attended by the main technology startups and key players in the wine world. It should be noted that the event will feature the participation of Víctor Rico, former operations manager of WhatsApp-Meta and ambassador of Angel Hub Mexico, one of the largest investor networks in Latin America.

In this regard, Etienne Choupay, regional director of Corfo Valparaiso , said that “one of our objectives at Corfo is to seek and promote the use of technology in our fields to address the water crisis affecting our region,” he explained

From the production of the event, they highlighted the focus of the event on attracting new technologies to address climate challenges and improve the marketing and creation of wine products in the Valparaiso Region.

It should be noted that among the confirmed speakers are prominent professionals such as Mariana Onofri, Director of Wines at Wine Country The Vines of Mendoza; Luis Felipe Oliva, an international consultant with extensive experience in the financial sector and Ettore del Lupo, an Italian winemaker specialising in the rescue of old vineyards; among others.
