Join the launch of the Chile - Finland Binational Platform: Building the next chapter of clean-Tech collaboration

Finnish companies working in clean technologies, sustainable mining, hydrogen economy, and bioeconomy are invited to take part in the official launch of the Chile-Finland Binational Platform for Development and Technology Transfer, happening on November 4 (08:00 - 13:30 ) at Team Finland House (Pohjoisesplanadi 46, Helsinki).
This new initiative aims to connect Finnish innovation with Chile鈥檚 dynamic industries, creating concrete opportunities for technology transfer, pilot projects, and business scaling in Latin America.
The platform aims to build bilateral innovation ecosystems supporting the clean transition, leveraging both public and private funding. Through this initiative, Chile and Finland strengthen their positions as global providers of clean technology solutions and contribute to a more sustainable future built around critical technologies and expertise.
The initiative is part of the recently signed Strategic Alliance between Chile and Finland for Development and Technology Transfer, a five-year project that will be jointly implemented by Fundaci贸n Chile and VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.

Part I - Strategic Opening
Representatives from Chile鈥檚 development agency CORFO, Fundaci贸n Chile, Business Finland, and VTT will present:
- The platform鈥檚 vision, objectives, and strategic framework
- Chile鈥檚 growth vision, market development, and collaboration focus areas:
- Sustainable mining and value-added processing
- Hydrogen economy and Power-to-X technologies
- Forest industry and bioeconomy
Part II - Thematic Roundtable Discussions
Finnish companies will have the opportunity to participate in targeted discussions with Chilean representatives, including CORFO and Fundaci贸n Chile, on the above-mentioned themes.
