Boosting internationalization of Chilean companies: ProChile signs collaboration agreement with Cambridge Business Association
Through five areas of cooperation, the institutions will strengthen the identification of business opportunities, prioritizing strategic markets such as the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Silicon FEN innovation ecosystem.
ProChile and the Cambridge Business Association (CBA), an institution derived from the University of Cambridge, signed a strategic collaboration agreement to promote the internationalisation of Chilean companies, market diversification and access to global networks of knowledge, financing and innovation.
Through five areas of cooperation, the institutions will strengthen the identification of commercial opportunities, prioritizing strategic markets such as the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Silicon FEN innovation ecosystem.
Thus, the companies using ProChile will have at their disposal free support tools and connections with global leaders.
In this regard, the General Director of ProChile, Ignacio Fernández, highlighted that "this agreement will not only allow Chilean entrepreneurs to have access to various global knowledge, financial and innovation networks, but also, our commercial attachés in 30 offices around the world, will increase their contact networks with principal decision-makers of leading companies, creating closer relationships to enhance and support the internationalization of Chilean businesses".

After the signing of the memorandum, the president of Cambridge Business Association (CBA), Guillermo Ramirez, added that "we are deeply proud and have the clear goal of providing opportunities to executives who are currently operating alone in a particular position. CBA has created a business bridge in Silicon FEN, the European business hub at the University of Cambridge, where companies like Microsoft, AstraZeneca and Google choose this ecosystem to grow and reach other latitudes. We want this alliance to enhance the growth of Chilean companies, thanks to interaction with investors and academics. We have high expectations."
The signing of the agreement also featured the presence of the International Director of ProChile, Natalia Arcos, the Managing Partner of CBA, Pablo Riccheri, the Managing Director of CBA Chile, Jocelyn Black, and the trade attachés of ProChile in various markets around the world.
