Startup Turku to host co-founder matchmaking event and community gathering on March 3

Find a Startup Co-founder event (Business Turku office, Tykistökatu 4B,1st Floor) 3.3. 3pm-5pm and Startup Turku Community Event (Circus, Tykistökatu 4B 7th floor) 5pm-11pm.

February 2026.- The Turku Startup ecosystem will come together on March 3 for a two-part event designed to strengthen entrepreneurial teams and foster new collaborations, combining a practical co-founder matchmaking session with a broader community networking evening.

Organised by Startup Turku in collaboration with Boost Turku, the initiative aims to support founders, aspiring entrepreneurs, and ecosystem actors at different stages of the startup journey — from team formation to community building.

The afternoon will begin with the Find a Startup Co-founder event, hosted at the Business Turku office. The session focuses on one of the most critical early challenges in entrepreneurship: building the right team.

Participants will receive guidance on key factors to consider when forming a startup team, learn about platforms and tools that help founders connect with potential partners, and take part in a matchmaking session designed to link ideas with potential co-founders or team members.

Startup Turku Community Event

Later in the evening, the focus will shift from team formation to community interaction with the Startup Turku Community Event, held at Circus in the same building. The gathering aims to bring together founders, innovators, and ecosystem stakeholders in a relaxed environment that encourages networking, idea exchange, and informal collaboration.

Guest speakers will include representatives from the Finnish Startup Community, who will introduce the organisation and its support structures for founders, as well as Monttu Ventures, presenting its updated investment focus through the Monttu Ventures 2.0 fund.

By combining structured support for team building with a broader networking space, the March 3 programme reflects Turku’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its startup ecosystem and create opportunities for new ventures to emerge through collaboration.

The events will take place at Tykistökatu 4B, Turku, with the co-founder session running from 15:00 to 17:00 and the community gathering continuing from 17:00 onward.

Participation requires prior registration.
