Nerdearla Chile: More than 12,000 people participated in the IT event
The event brought together more than 70 speakers and a varied agenda of topics such as technology, programming, AI, cybersecurity, gaming, inclusion and new trends in the IT sector, inclusion and gender. It was the second edition of this event in Chile.
Nerdearla, one of the most popular free IT events in Latin America, successfully ended its second edition in Santiago de Chile, with the presence of more than 1500 face-to-face participants and more than 10,000 online participants who followed the broadcast via streaming.
More than 70 speakers, a coworking space, live notes, interactive games, group workshops and sponsor stands, among others, were some of the moments experienced from April 11 to 13 at the Gabriela Mistral Center in the Chilean capital.
Among the most relevant talks and presences, we can highlight Marcelo Tala Pinto with his talk on “Exoplanets”; Constanza DĂaz with “Inclusion of women in IT”; Gabriel Bergel and Mauro Eldritch with “Cybersecurity”; and Roni Bandini with “Reggaeton Be Gone.”
At the same time, Brais Moure, Spanish influencer and programmer, accompanied the event, which was a magnet for looks and photos that were repeated during the days by the “nerdy” fans.

Ariel Jolo, Eduardo Casarero and Javier Severini, expressed: “We are grateful and happy for the warm welcome and support we have received again from the Chilean community. It should be noted that with respect to the first edition of Nerdearla Chile in 2023, the numbers doubled from one year to the next regarding attendees. (Last November there were 800 people in person.)
Upcoming Event
The City of Buenos Aires will be the next venue for the tenth edition of Nerdearla Argentina, from September 24 to 28, with free admission since 2014, and with face-to-face and online format.
