The big tech bets on AI solutions to transform their businesses
Strategic alliances are helping customers accelerate their businesses and take advantage of the huge benefits of having everything at their disposal.
A study from the IBM Institute for Business Value (IBV) found that large companies in Latin America have accelerated the integration of AI by 67% in the last two years. The IBV also identified that the level of competitiveness depends on who has the most advanced generative artificial intelligence, being this the most disruptive AI technology at the moment.
In the face of this scenario, these are some of the big tech companies in Latin America that are betting on AI to transform their businesses and those of their clients:
SAP: Thanks to AI solutions, the efficiency of businesses in the consumer mass products and retail industry can be improved. SAP in collaboration with IBM will create generative and traditional AI solutions that will focus on addressing the complexities of the business process such as in-store product distribution, product portfolio management, etc. The project will be carried out on the SAP Business Technology Platform and will be integrated with watsonx from IBM.
Intel: With the goal of helping clients more cost-effectively scale their business AI workloads, while prioritizing performance, security, and resilience, Intel and IBM, will announce by 2025 the Intel® AI Gaudi® 3 accelerators as-a-service on IBM Cloud. This will enable clients to manage workloads and applications more rapidly and securely, enhancing user experiences. It will be available for both hybrid and local environments.
Microsoft: As organizations adopt hybrid cloud and AI to drive innovation, they require advanced security capabilities to protect their most valuable data. The collaboration of Microsoft and IBM Consulting will provide customers with a simplified, efficient, and cost-effective approach to protect cloud workloads and effectively manage the proliferation of threats that organizations regularly face.
NVIDIA: With the purpose of assisting companies across all industries in unlocking new AI opportunities, NVIDIA and IBM are collaborating to streamline the AI workflows in enterprises, enhance use case optimization, and develop new enterprise and industry-specific AI use cases. Moreover, they will aid companies in accelerating the adoption of generative AI across all sectors, including public, banking, and industrial.
Strategic alliances are helping customers accelerate their businesses and take advantage of the enormous benefits of having everything at their disposal, without the barriers of having to work solely with one technology provider. The combination of the right partners with specific technical expertise to unlock their full potential can be key for customers. When it comes to AI, these alliances can enable true disruption that crosses borders.
