The startup ecosystem in the Turku region is growing strongly, according to the 2025 startup survey. Entrepreneurs find the operating environment more positive than before, and the region is increasingly attracting international talent.
These entrepreneurs will travel to Chile to develop their businesses through the three acceleration programs of Start-Up Chile: Build, Ignite, and Growth, which vary according to the level of development of the projects.
The event for women who dream of starting their own business and are looking for their first step will take place on March 6th at Café Rebelle in downtown Turku.
According to data from the institution, they serviced 5,656 companies, of which 2,547 are exporters, and of these, 1,086 are small and medium-sized exporting companies (Pymex).
The Award aims to benefit 15 women from Latin America, Asia Pacific, Africa and the Middle East who are leading transformative initiatives in health and food security.
